Director of DevOps - Remote

Overview

DomainTools is seeking an experienced leader to direct several of our DevOps delivery teams. This position will manage engineers and other managers responsible for designing, building, deploying, operating and maintaining our production systems.

In Short

• Orchestrate your organization and manage through other managers.
• Lead a team of engineers directly and provide leadership and mentoring.
• Recruit, develop, and retain talent for team capabilities.
• Collaborate across teams to understand requirements and propose improvements.
• Define, implement and continually improve processes.
• Estimate project requirements, timelines, capacity, and costs.
• Participate in on-call duties with a global operations team.

Requirements

• 10+ years experience in technology management.
• Director level experience with oversight of large teams.
• Experience managing off-shore teams.
• Proven ability to influence at all company levels.
• 5+ years development experience with SaaS solutions.
• Knowledge of AWS, Kubernetes, Kafka, and programming languages like C, Python, GoLang, and Rust.
• Experience with data systems including RDBMS and NoSQL.
