Director of DevOps - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of DevOps to lead our DevOps strategy, drive automation, and optimize software delivery pipelines. As the Director of DevOps, you will be responsible for managing cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, site reliability, security, and performance monitoring. You will collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to implement best practices and ensure a seamless, scalable, and resilient DevOps culture.

In Short

• Define and execute the company's DevOps roadmap.
• Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, SREs, and automation specialists.
• Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for rapid software releases.
• Implement observability and logging solutions.
• Ensure DevSecOps principles are integrated into the software development lifecycle.
• Define SLAs, SLOs, and SLIs for system reliability and uptime.
• Oversee incident management and disaster recovery planning.
• Optimize performance tuning and capacity planning.
• Drive a culture of automation and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering.
• 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and Kubernetes.
• Expertise in CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code.
• Strong knowledge of networking, security, and monitoring tools.
• Experience with microservices and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with GitOps and DevSecOps principles.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
