Employment Tax Leader - Remote

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Employment Tax Leader to drive the global employment tax agenda for our organization. This role requires a dynamic professional with deep technical knowledge across employment, mobility, equity awards, bonus compensation, and international tax, coupled with the ability to engage and influence across multiple functions and geographies.

In Short

• Define and implement the global employment tax strategy.
• Lead employment tax aspects of corporate transactions.
• Oversee compliance and reporting for employment tax obligations.
• Partner with various departments to ensure cohesive execution of policies.
• Manage employment tax audits and resolve disputes with tax authorities.
• Act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders.
• Provide guidance on employment tax matters to Payroll Leaders.
• Drive employment tax considerations into HR and compensation processes.
• Develop relationships with employment tax service providers.
• Innovate through technology to enhance compliance and efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related area or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of five years of experience in employment, mobility, and international tax.
• Proven experience leading employment tax strategy for multinational organizations.
• Deep understanding of tax risk and compliance frameworks.
• Tax Advisor or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Experience with multijurisdictional withholding and reciprocal jurisdictions.
• Track record of managing high-impact projects.
• Technically adept with interest in digital transformation.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience influencing at senior levels across regulatory forums.

• Base pay range of $128,900 - 180,000.
