Overview

The Applications Engineer - System Electronics at HYDAC acts as a liaison between Sales, customers, Product Divisions, and Manufacturing Operations, focusing on business development and application engineering in electronic controls and sensors.

In Short

• Responsible for customer-facing business development and design support.
• Collaborate with sales teams on account strategies and provide technical support.
• Lead the development of electronic sales targeting specific customers.
• Assist customers in applying and implementing HYDAC’s electronic products.
• Participate in design reviews to ensure compliance with requirements.
• Evaluate customer specifications for technical and commercial compliance.
• Promote and train the sales team on new product releases.
• Travel up to 40% of the time.
• Develop effective relationships with customers and internal teams.
• Provide Voice of Customer feedback for new product ideas.

Requirements

• Associate degree in engineering required; BSEE or Computer Science preferred.
• Experience in selling/applying electronic products in industrial/mobile markets.
• Understanding of electronic controls and system architecture.
• Effective communication skills in English.
• Self-starter with project follow-through abilities.
• Computer/Electronic Controls Programming experience desired.
