Director of Development and Outreach - Remote

Overview

The Development and Outreach Department of Human Rights Watch (HRW) is seeking applicants for the position of Director, The Netherlands to lead our fundraising and outreach in Amsterdam and The Netherlands more widely. The Director will oversee a small and dynamic team in the Amsterdam office and will report to the Managing Director of Development and Outreach for Northern and Central Europe based in Zurich.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum ten years of fundraising experience required.
• Five years of management experience required.
• Strong communication skills in Dutch and English.
• Experience in budgeting and revenue tracking.
• Commitment to human rights issues required.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or relational databases preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
