Director of Development - Remote

Overview

Young Voices is seeking a seasoned and strategic Director of Development to lead our fundraising efforts and ensure the long-term sustainability of our mission. This role is responsible for designing and executing a comprehensive development strategy that includes individual giving, major gifts, foundation support, donor communications, and stewardship.

• Lead fundraising efforts for Young Voices.

• Plan and execute donor events, both virtual and in-person.
• Represent Young Voices at development-related events.
• Collaborate with staff to align fundraising messaging.
• Report directly to the Executive Director.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in nonprofit fundraising.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with donor databases or CRM systems.
• Proven ability to build relationships with donors.
• Strategic thinker with organizational skills.
• Commitment to Young Voices’ mission and values.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
