Legal Counsel - Commercial - Remote

Overview

HubSpot is looking for a Legal Counsel to join the Commercial Legal Team to provide a key support role to our EMEA-based Sales Teams.

In Short

• Provide first-line client-centric legal support to our EMEA Sales teams on commercial and legal issues
• Review and negotiate commercial agreements, including SaaS agreements, data processing agreements, and non-disclosure agreements
• Work with various business teams on a variety of legal processes as needed
• Partner closely with Sales stakeholders to understand business objectives and drive strategic improvements
• Collaborate with legal and compliance practice groups to accelerate growth with a customer-centric mindset

Requirements

• Qualified to practice law in the Netherlands or have another reciprocal EU qualification
• Minimum of 3+ years of relevant in-house legal experience
• Experience reviewing commercial contracts and running negotiation processes
• Excellent legal drafting skills
• Strong foundation in data protection and EU privacy law
