Commercial Legal Counsel - Remote

Overview

First Stop Health is seeking an experienced, innovative and detail-oriented Commercial Legal Counsel who will drive the success of our contracting and legal initiatives in a fast-growing healthcare company.

In Short

• Manage the First Stop Health contracting process.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to negotiate and execute contracts.
• Review, draft, and negotiate various commercial contracts.
• Provide legal analysis and guidance on various legal issues.
• Maintain knowledge of healthcare and privacy rules and regulations.
• Work with outside counsel on corporate and compliance issues.
• Organize and manage internal contract templates.
• Communicate with non-legal departments regarding contract processes.
• Improve processes by recommending new approaches.
• Assist with compliance and employment agreements as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Juris Doctorate required.
• Licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 3-5 years of experience in a law firm or as in-house counsel.
• Healthcare industry experience preferred.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently in a deadline-oriented environment.
• Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with Salesforce CRM preferred.
