Overview

The Community Partnerships Manager position provides the opportunity to play an important role in increasing housing security for people across the Austin Metro area. This position will work with social service agencies and local government to increase access to housing opportunities for people experiencing housing instability and homelessness.

In Short

  • Develop and deliver scalable strategies to increase household move-in rates.
  • Lead Austin Metro community partner recruitment and onboarding.
  • Engage with the nonprofit community to drive adoption of Housing Connector.
  • Strengthen local communication channels with nonprofits.
  • Engage with key partners to coordinate strategies for housing access.
  • Manage the distribution of flex funds for local nonprofits.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve customer experience.
  • Develop policies and streamline processes across the organization.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in program or project management.
  • Proven ability to build relationships across sectors.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills for diverse audiences.
  • Experience improving operational processes.
  • Data-driven approach to measuring outcomes.
  • Adaptable and proactive in fast-paced environments.
  • Knowledge of the local nonprofit community.
