In Short

• Handling general accounting functions including accruals, prepaid amortization, fixed asset depreciation and amortization, preparing journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Ensuring the timely close of the company’s financial records on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Assisting in year-end financial reporting and audit processes by preparing supporting schedules and audit deliverables.
• Applying accounting principles in accordance with US GAAP to prepare, analyze, and deliver complete and accurate financial reports.
• Supporting the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust internal controls over financial reporting.
• Identifying opportunities to streamline accounting, reconciliation, and reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy across accounting functions.
• Preparing and filing various state and local tax forms and other regulatory filing requirements.
• Provide ongoing support of internal customer needs, specifically Operations, Sales, FP&A, and Legal teams.
• Participating in developing and refining day-to-day operating practices with a focus on continued process improvement.
• Performing adhoc projects to support finance, accounting, and various cross-functional initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 2+ years of accounting experience.
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g. NetSuite, or similar).
• Strong Excel skills (Intermediate to Advanced).
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Comfortable in a dynamic and fast-moving organization and able to work well cross-functionally.
• Team player who wants to grow within a company.
