Staff Accountant - Remote

Overview

As a Staff Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data, helping the business make confident, data-driven decisions.

In Short

• Prepare and process month-end journal entries and reconciliations.
• Manage daily bank reconciliations.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Oversee high-volume Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) workflows.
• Assist in financial statement preparation.
• Provide supporting documentation for reporting cycles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain organization under high-volume workflows.
• Strong proficiency with QuickBooks, Google Sheets, and Excel.
• Familiarity with email automation is a plus.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of hands-on experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Ability to manage journal entries and reconciliations.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• High standard for written and verbal communication.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
• Understanding of U.S. accounting standards is a plus.
