Staff Accountant - Remote

Overview

As a Staff Accountant, you’ll be a key member of our lean but growing accounting team. You’ll take ownership of core accounting activities while helping us design and refine the systems, controls, and processes that will support our next phase of growth.

In Short

• Manage general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
• Process invoices, vendor payments, and customer billings and collections.
• Review and process employee expense reports.
• Maintain accurate records and investigate discrepancies.
• Identify and help implement process and system enhancements.
• Prepare schedules and documentation for annual financial audits.
• Support special finance initiatives and cross-functional projects.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in SaaS or high-growth tech environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CPA-track a plus).
• Strong knowledge of GAAP; experience with accounting software.
• Excel/Google Sheets proficiency.
• Accurate, thorough, and organized with a strong sense of accountability.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
