Overview

The Technical Support Specialist Level 2 will provide essential support to customers, ensuring they have the tools and assistance needed to effectively use Planet Hoist Network managed solutions.

In Short

  • Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support via various channels.
  • Analyze data to determine root causes of issues.
  • Maintain system capabilities through testing and troubleshooting.
  • Empower customers with knowledge base resources.
  • Configure security and access settings.
  • Organize remote upgrades and maintenance.
  • Monitor for updates and potential issues.
  • Work with senior engineers on escalated tickets.
  • Onboard new team members with training.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and teams.

Requirements

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in network operations or field operations.
  • Knowledge of LAN and WAN technologies.
  • Experience with wireless networks (802.11x).
  • Network vendor certifications preferred.
  • B.S. or equivalent degree in IT preferred.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts.
  • High standard of written and spoken English.
