Overview

We are currently seeking a seasoned Service Sales professional to serve Hitachi Energy as a Service Sales Account Manager (SSAM). This position focuses on driving service sales of electrical power equipment substation services in the Midwest Region.

In Short

  • Drive service sales of electrical power equipment substation services.
  • Develop and implement service sales account plans.
  • Establish long-term customer relationships.
  • Conduct sales calls and identify service opportunities.
  • Utilize market trends to generate service sales leads.
  • Prepare service offerings based on customer needs.
  • Contribute to risk assessments related to pricing and quality.
  • Provide technical direction for service sales training.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams to develop successful project teams.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety directives.

Requirements

  • 3-9 years of experience in sales or service of power systems/solutions.
  • Familiarity with Hitachi Energy power products and services.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or technical discipline preferred.
  • Experience with electric substation equipment and related services.
  • Willingness to travel 60% of the time.
  • Strong communication and customer relationship skills.
  • Ability to develop sales strategies and account plans.
  • Experience negotiating long-term service contracts.
  • Knowledge of Operations & Maintenance practices for substations.
  • Work authorization in the United States required.
