In Short

• Lead the company’s legislative legal function.
• Provide strategic counsel to Government Affairs and senior leadership.
• Oversee the review of legislative initiatives and policy communications.
• Advise on the legal impact of proposed laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with Government Affairs on policy strategies.
• Lead legal engagement with trade associations.
• Monitor evolving trends in laws and regulations.
• Mentor and manage a team of legislative counsel.
• Manage outside counsel as needed.

Requirements

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
• 12+ years of legal experience, preferably in healthcare.
• Expertise in legislative and policy areas like AI and data privacy.
• Ability to build trust-based partnerships.
• Strong leadership and team development experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
