Senior Chargeback Analyst - Remote

Overview

Highnote is looking for a Senior Chargeback Analyst to join our Risk operations efforts. This is an opportunity to bring your prior experience and tool kit to an early-stage company where you will work cross-functionally to help enhance our Acquiring Risk operations.

In Short

• Process merchant chargebacks end-to-end.
• Review evidence and determine the validity of claims.
• Ensure disputes meet evidentiary and technical requirements.
• Monitor chargeback data for trends and patterns.
• Communicate with merchants regarding chargeback activity.
• Manage remediation plans for merchants exceeding chargeback thresholds.
• Assist with risk monitoring for merchants.
• Focus on quality and maintain high-quantity output.
• Empathy for customers and ability to glean insights from communication.
• Self-awareness and ability to improve personal strengths and weaknesses.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in risk or chargeback processing.
• CAMS or Disputes certification preferred.
• Strong experience in processing chargebacks at financial institutions.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Experience presenting to executive teams.
