Payments Analyst - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a Payments Analyst to join our team to perform and continuously improve the processes with our bank and card network partners, ensuring accurate and quick completion of daily tasks.

In Short

• Perform daily operations for settlement with bank and card network partners.
• Maintain reporting and processes for reconciliation between internal systems and banking partners.
• Help solidify processes for disputes, chargebacks, and payments issues.
• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation activities.
• Troubleshoot payments activity and reconciliation issues.
• Support operations and compliance in responding to inquiries.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders for system improvements.
• Other tasks as needed.

Requirements

• 5+ years operations experience, preferably in fintech.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in payment operations.
• Strong communication skills for process development and reporting.
• Knowledge of payments processing and technology.
• Experience with payments-related tools and data.
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
• Knowledge of accounting concepts, especially reconciliations.
• Detail-oriented and tenacious in tracking payment transactions.
• Excellent Excel/Google Sheets skills.
• Comfortable with repetitive tasks.
