Overview

As an Account Manager at Freightzy, you will support existing clients while forging new alliances, backed by elite industry training and a supportive team.

In Short

  • Present Freightzy’s solutions to new prospective clients.
  • Ensure client expectations are met (and exceeded).
  • Follow up on leads entrusted to you.
  • Log all sales-related activities in the CRM.
  • Delegate tasks to the support team as needed.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and customers.
  • Attend company events, trade shows, and industry conferences to expand your network.
  • Split your focus 50/50 between driving net new business and expanding existing accounts.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in account management within a competitive freight brokerage environment.
  • Background in shipping and logistics, with a solid grasp of industry processes.
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships, handle account escalations, and oversee operations.
  • A problem-solving mindset - when challenges arise, you don’t just react, you resolve.
  • Self-starter mentality - you see what needs to be done and take action without waiting for direction.
