Contract MD (PA License) - Remote

Overview

Hey Jane is seeking a Contract MD licensed in Pennsylvania to provide medication abortion care via telemedicine. The role involves reviewing patients’ medical intake responses, communicating with them through a HIPAA-compliant platform, and prescribing medications.

In Short

• Fully remote position with specific state licensing requirements.
• Provide medication abortion care using Hey Jane’s online platform.
• Communicate with patients via video or asynchronous appointments.
• Review medical intake responses and determine eligibility for treatment.
• Prescribe medications to a mail order pharmacy for direct patient delivery.
• Work at least one hour per day during clinic hours (Mon-Sun 10am-8pm ET).
• Compensation is $125 per hour.
• Must have active Board Certification and state licensure in PA.
• Experience in abortion and reproductive healthcare is required.
• Interest in providing compassionate care in a fast-paced startup environment.

Requirements

• Active Board Certification, in good standing to practice medicine.
• Active state licensure (MD, DO) and licensed in PA.
• Willing to apply for additional licenses.
• No restrictions on ability to be credentialed with Medicaid or other payers.
• 1+ year experience providing abortion & reproductive healthcare.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Skilled at using online tools and technology for patient care.
