Overview

The Senior Manager, Payment Processing and Chargeback Operations will lead the execution of payment lifecycles in a remote setting, focusing on improving workflows and delivering results in high-volume payment operations.

In Short

  • Lead daily execution of payment lifecycles including card processing and ACH.
  • Drive strategic process improvements and compliance oversight.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to staff.
  • Build productivity reporting for senior leadership.
  • Conduct staff performance reviews and operational assessments.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Compliance, and Client Services.
  • Ensure alignment with NACHA regulations and internal policies.
  • Maintain knowledge of payment operations management.
  • Assist in the development of department KPIs.
  • Manage vendor relationships with third-party payment processors.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of leadership experience in Payment Operations or Finance Operations.
  • Understanding of ACH and Credit Card processing.
  • Experience managing KPIs in high-volume environments.
  • Strong knowledge of payment systems and financial data workflows.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience with databases and SQL queries is a plus.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
  • A mentoring leadership style focused on team growth.
  • Extensive chargeback experience.
