Senior Accountant - Remote

Overview

The Senior Accountant will support a multi-entity month-end close by owning key reconciliations, preparing journal entries and accruals, and producing accurate, timely financial reporting.

In Short

• Support daily, weekly, and month-end accounting activities.
• Reconcile bank accounts weekly and monthly.
• Prepare and post journal entries and month-end accruals.
• Maintain supporting schedules and close workpapers.
• Assist with preparing and publishing monthly financial statements.
• Investigate variances and drive resolution of open items.
• Support cash flow planning and contribute to forecasting.
• Respond to document requests from auditors and investors.
• Improve accounting procedures and systems.
• Deliver ad hoc reporting and financial analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 3+ years of accounting or audit experience.
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills.
• Self-motivated and able to manage multiple deadlines.
• Able to analyze large data sets.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
