An opportunity for an experienced accounting professional to take ownership of financial integrity as a Senior Accountant, ensuring accurate financial reporting and strengthening accounting operations.

In Short

• Full-time, remote position within the continental United States.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP or SAP.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure all financial activity is properly recorded.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and accruals.
• Analyze and apply accounting guidance to complex transactions.
• Design and maintain internal controls over financial reporting.
• Support audits by preparing schedules and responding to inquiries.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, insurance industry preferred.
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred; public accounting experience valued.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and ability to apply accounting principles.
• Experience with complex accounting scenarios.
• Proficiency with accounting systems and advanced Excel skills.
