Overview

As a Senior Accountant at Katapult, you will be responsible for preparing SEC reporting packages, managing the monthly close process, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards while collaborating with various teams to enhance operational efficiency.

In Short

• Preparation of SEC reporting package supporting Form 10-Q, 10-K, and 8-Ks.
• Documentation of technical accounting matters.
• Ownership of areas in the monthly close process.
• Preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Collaboration with internal and external auditors.
• Assisting with cash forecasting and treasury tasks.
• Maintaining compliance with SOX controls and US GAAP.
• Implementing process improvements and best practices.
• Developing and updating accounting policies and procedures.
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills required.

Requirements

• BA in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to analyze data and identify patterns.
• Creative problem-solving and prioritization skills.
