The Vulnerability Management Security Engineer owns and continuously improves the enterprise vulnerability management program across various platforms, ensuring the security and integrity of systems and data.

• Manage the vulnerability management lifecycle including asset discovery and remediation tracking.
• Administer vulnerability scanning tools like Tenable and Qualys.
• Drive remediation efforts with system owners and produce executive risk reports.
• Coordinate patch and configuration remediation activities.

• Support secure configuration practices and compliance validation.
• Manage vulnerability-related tickets in the service management platform.
• Provide oversight for outsourced IT vulnerability remediation deliverables.
• Enhance Microsoft 365 security and email protection.
• Collaborate with Security Operations for rapid threat assessments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 6+ years of experience in vulnerability management or related cybersecurity role.
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability management platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux systems.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 security administration.
• Ability to influence and drive remediation across teams.
• Familiarity with ticketing tools like ServiceNow or Jira.
• Scripting skills in PowerShell or Python.
• Knowledge of security best practices and frameworks.
