Overview

As Counsel, Regulatory and Privacy, you will be a key strategic partner responsible for partnering with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Privacy teams to support innovation during a pivotal growth phase at Headway, a mission-driven healthcare technology company.

In Short

• Serve as embedded regulatory thought partner to Product and Operations teams
• Provide guidance on privacy (HIPAA, state law), AI, and clinical regulatory implications
• Partner with Compliance and Privacy teams on policy development
• Translate complex healthcare regulations into practical guidance
• Anticipate regulatory challenges and develop solutions
• Build strong relationships across teams to enable business objectives
• 5+ years of legal experience with healthcare regulatory expertise
• Deep understanding of multi-state healthcare regulations
• Experience as a trusted advisor in a healthcare technology environment
• Strong communication skills and political savvy

Requirements

• 5+ years of post-bar admittance legal experience
• Significant healthcare regulatory expertise
• Ability to translate complex regulations into clear guidance
• Track record of balancing compliance with business objectives
• JD from an accredited law school
• Active bar membership in good standing
