In Short

• Halcyon is looking for an experienced data engineer to develop a coherent data platform.
• Responsibilities include consuming, cleaning, correlating, modeling, organizing, documenting, testing, and reporting on data.
• Expertise in SQL and Python is required.
• Experience with Databricks/Spark and AWS Cloud is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with Data Warehousing, Data Lakes, and Delta Lakes is essential.
• Excellent reporting and communication skills are necessary.
• Bonus skills include knowledge of Scala, Elastic/OpenSearch, and Kafka.
• Familiarity with security data and supporting data in production environments is a plus.
• Leadership experience is also beneficial.
• Flexible working environment as part of a remote-native, distributed team.

Requirements

• Expertise in SQL and Python.
