In Short

  • Identifies opportunities for sales expansion and recommends specific action plans.
  • Demonstrates products/services and assists in customer selection.
  • Communicates pricing, terms, and delivery dates on orders.
  • Responds promptly to customer needs and requests.
  • Cultivates relationships with key personnel at accounts.
  • Submits sales plans, goals, and objectives for territory.
  • Plans and organizes territory for effective management.
  • Implements action plans and coordinates support personnel.
  • Reports on account status and competitive activity.
  • Attends trade shows and conferences.

Requirements

  • B.S./B.A. in Business, Marketing or Technical Degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of the foundry and metal casting process required.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in sales and marketing of technical products.
  • Proven prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and listening skills.
  • Self-starter with excellent time management skills.
  • Proficiency with Office 365; knowledge of SAP and CRM is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license and pass a driving record background check.
  • Ability to perform essential functions with or without accommodation.
