Overview

The Technical Sales Representative is responsible for managing, developing, and growing sales within an assigned geographic territory in North Central Indiana. This role blends relationship-building, technical consultation, and business development to drive value for customers and meet HA International’s growth objectives.

In Short

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the territory.
  • Manage and grow assigned national and regional accounts.
  • Deliver product presentations and technical support to foundry customers.
  • Serve as a liaison between customers and internal teams.
  • Communicate pricing, terms, and delivery timelines clearly.
  • Submit strategic plans and sales performance summaries to management.
  • Organize technical seminars and customer meetings.
  • Maintain understanding of market trends and customer requirements.
  • Complete weekly expense reports and CRM updates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a technical field preferred.
  • 1–3 years of technical sales or industrial marketing experience required.
  • Knowledge of foundry and metal casting processes is required.
  • Proven track record of prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized and self-motivated.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365; experience with SAP and CRM systems is a plus.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to perform essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
