Overview

As a Customer Support Engineer at H2O.ai, you will play a critical role in ensuring our customers have a seamless experience deploying and managing machine learning models in production. You will be the bridge between our engineering teams and customers, providing hands-on technical support, troubleshooting complex issues, and helping users optimize their MLOps workflows.

In Short

  • Engage with customers to identify and troubleshoot issues they face and answer technical questions.
  • Analyze bug reports, reproduce issues, determine the root cause, and provide fixes.
  • Provide design for new features focusing on the approach and patterns to solve the problem.
  • Responsible for writing code along with relevant unit test cases.
  • Contribute to end-to-end automated tests by ensuring that the newer changes have relevant test cases.
  • Work with Kubernetes widely.
  • Review the design and code of other developers.
  • Write Infrastructure Code using Terraform and Helm charts.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge: Linux, Bash, File systems, Logging, Linux file permissions.
  • 1+ years of Kubernetes and Docker.
  • 4 years+ of Software Engineering.
  • At least one of: AWS, Azure, GCP.
  • At least one of: GoLang, Python, C++, Java.
  • Terraform and Helm.
  • Relational Databases (e.g. SQL).
  • Networking concepts and fundamentals.
  • Strong communication skills and comfortable being in a customer-facing role.
  • Bachelor's or a higher education degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field.
