Overview

The Merit Review Officer (MRO) is a scientist responsible for coordinating and reporting on merit review panels for the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI), ensuring high-quality and objective reviews of funding applications.

• Coordinate and report on merit review panels.

Requirements

• Master's degree required, PhD preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in a relevant field.
• 2+ years of prior MRO/SRO experience.
• Experience in patient-centered comparative clinical effectiveness research.
• Significant contributions to peer-reviewed publications.
• Understanding of the merit review process.
• Ability to work in a remote office setting.
• Willingness to travel locally and regionally.
• Excellent strategic communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
