Overview

As a Reimbursement Specialist II, you will leverage your expertise in healthcare billing to optimize payment processes and ensure accurate posting of payments, contributing to the mission of Guardant Health.

In Short

• Manage posting of cash receipts and EOBs in the billing tool.
• Analyze EOB/ERA files for accurate payment posting.
• Handle denied charges and appeals.
• Reconcile bank transactions and manage patient payments.
• Communicate with cross-functional teams to improve processes.
• Maintain documentation of payer requirements.
• Work independently while managing sensitive information.
• Utilize revenue cycle tools and software.
• Engage with insurance carriers for follow-up.
• Support process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in healthcare claims posting.
• Knowledge of health plan regulations and processes.
• Experience with credit card processing and bank transactions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively across departments.
• Self-motivated and capable of identifying process improvements.
• Experience with revenue cycle tools is desirable.
• Ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
• This role may require some travel.
