Overview

The Patient Navigation Specialist I – Screening will coordinate patient screening activities, ensuring timely and successful sample collections while providing excellent patient experiences.

In Short

  • Coordinate patient screening activities as the primary contact.
  • Communicate effectively via phone, email, and Salesforce CRM.
  • Build relationships with patients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Participate in meetings with sales and client services associates.
  • Document communications in Salesforce and other systems.
  • Follow established SOPs for patient navigation workflows.
  • Track case progress and escalate issues as needed.
  • Achieve team and individual case management goals.
  • Apply problem-solving skills for escalated situations.
  • Assist with administrative duties to support the department.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences or related field preferred.
  • 1-2+ years of customer service experience in healthcare.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office; Salesforce experience a plus.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a complex environment.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing procedures and priorities.
  • Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are a plus.
  • Occasional travel to Guardant Health offices may be required.
