In Short

• Full responsibility for operational finance processes from accounting to collaboration with our tax advisor.
• Complete financial accounting in DATEV including account management.
• Debtor and creditor management (open items, dunning, supplier invoices).
• Prepare and submit VAT advance returns on time.
• Prepare and coordinate monthly and annual financial statements.
• Handle tax special topics in collaboration with the tax advisor.
• Coordinate payroll accounting (externally).
• Create management reports (BWA, CM3, fixed cost ratio, DB).
• Monthly cash flow planning and updates.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial accounting.

Requirements

• Completed studies in Finance or Controlling or a completed training in similar fields.
• 2+ years of professional experience in operational finance, whether in a startup, SME, or tax office.
• Very good knowledge of DATEV and accounting basics (HGB, VAT, etc.).
• Ability to work independently, structured, and communicate clearly.
• Excel is more than just a table for you – you actively use it for cash flow, forecasts, and more.
• Very good German and good English skills.
• Nice to have: Experience in E-Commerce (Shopify, Klarna, PayPal); understanding of COGS & inventory valuation in retail; interest in further developing reporting & financial processes.
