Overview

We at Groundbreaker are a non-profit organization based in Cologne, specializing in developing projects that go beyond traditional donations and create a sustainable, positive impact for all involved. One of our key programs is Groundbreaker Talents, which trains young women from difficult financial backgrounds in Uganda as software engineers through an intensive one-year program. Scholarships for this program are primarily funded by companies and investment funds from the IT sector. Employees of supporting companies are directly involved in our mentorship program, creating a platform for interaction. Our goal is to provide a truly sustainable way out of poverty while promoting diversity in the tech industry.

In Short

  • Responsible for the entire sales process of scholarships.
  • Develop and implement innovative fundraising strategies.
  • Build and maintain long-term partnerships with companies interested in CSR projects.
  • Represent Groundbreaker at events and actively win new partners.
  • Monitor performance of sales and fundraising activities based on KPIs.
  • Work independently and implement creative ideas in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English.
  • Flexible and willing to travel regularly.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales and/or fundraising.
  • Strategic and goal-oriented approach to sales and fundraising processes.
  • Comfortable presenting Groundbreaker Talents at events.
  • Detail-oriented with a structured and analytical working style.
  • Ability to adapt and be resilient under stress.
