Overview

The Senior Payment Analyst will be at the heart of payment operations, ensuring seamless payment processes while contributing to operational governance and oversight.

In Short

• Handle exception management, investigation, and reconciliation of payments.
• Process CHAPS & BACS payments, including Direct Debit Indemnities.
• Analyze data to produce accurate MI and regulatory reporting.
• Represent Griffin in the payments industry and engage with stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement through data analysis and process management.
• Own billing processes, including invoicing and fee collection.
• Maintain high-quality output through rigorous quality assurance.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in a Payment Operations role with UK payment schemes.
• Ability to manage time-sensitive investigations effectively.
• Strong desire to support customers with empathy.
• Data-informed approach to communication and governance.
• Proactive, curious, and balanced in experimentation and solutions.
• Flexible and supportive in team dynamics.
