Senior Analyst - Payor - Remote

SonderMind is looking to hire a Senior Analyst with a strong background in data analysis and visualization to work with a high-performing team of data analysts, responsible for delivering actionable insights that inform operational and strategic decision-making to drive our business forward.

In Short

• Independently lead end-to-end data analysis initiatives supporting Payor Operations.
• Design, maintain, and improve data structures and governance frameworks.
• Develop and deliver dashboards, reports, and ad hoc analyses.
• Serve as a strategic thought partner to the Payor team.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with product, engineering, and business stakeholders.
• Identify, monitor, and analyze key metrics to assess program performance.
• Own and manage reporting cycles for payor operations.
• Present findings and recommendations using clear data storytelling.
• Support testing, pilot tracking, and performance evaluation.
• Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement.

Requirements

• Strong working knowledge of SQL and data visualization tools.
• Experience with Python, R, and data science is a plus.
• 5+ years of work experience in analytics roles.
• Degree in statistics, computer science, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience with insurance-specific data.
• Previous experience in a startup or high-growth environment.
• Experience in digital healthcare.
