Litigation Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Litigation Specialist is primarily responsible for participating in all aspects of the dispute and litigation process, from the initiation of a claim or case to the discovery period through settlement, trial and post-trial proceedings and appeals, including reporting on matters and budgeting.

In Short

• Manage all aspects of litigation support services.
• Prepare, review, and revise litigation-related documents.
• Assist with discovery and legal research.
• Coordinate with outside counsel regarding pending litigation.
• Monitor deadlines for cases and manage document productions.
• Prepare litigation hold notices and coordinate internal searches.
• Process invoices and track legal matter budgets.
• Work collaboratively with the in-house legal department.
• Perform other projects to support the Legal Services team.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external counsel.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of three years of litigation support experience.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and databases.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Understanding of complex legal concepts and terminology.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Assertive and self-directed work style.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including tact and diplomacy.
• Experience with litigation management processes.
• Paralegal certification is a plus but not required.
