Staff Software Engineer, Full Stack - Remote

In Short

• Lead the design and implementation of new experiences on the Greenlight website.
• Serve as a key member of the web core team, driving technical strategy.
• Collaborate with a high-performing team to deliver high-impact web products.
• Work closely with cross-functional partners to prioritize and deliver incremental features.
• Modification and development of backend services that power our web products.
• Champion improvements in system reliability, performance, and observability.
• Mentor other engineers and guide teams in evaluating and adopting web technologies.

Requirements

• BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 7+ years software development experience.
• Experience building single page applications using a modern framework.
• Experience building REST APIs.
• Experience building backend services using Node.js/Kotlin/Typescript.
• An eye towards performance, scalability, and observability.
• The ability to context switch frequently in a fast-paced environment.
