Overview

The Manager, Sales Engineering is a hands-on people leader responsible for the day-to-day success of Greenhouse’s North America Sales Engineering team. You’ll spend most of your time with your team —joining key calls, pressure-testing deal strategies, triaging requests, and coaching SEs through complex, multi-threaded cycles.

  • Represent Sales Engineering with executive presence.
  • Partner with Product and Services to share field insights.
  • Model high EQ, integrity, and calm decision-making.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Sales Engineering or a closely related pre-sales function.
  • At least 3 years of experience leading Sales Engineering teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance tactical leadership with strategic planning.
  • Mastery of verbal and written communication.
  • Experience practicing Radical Candor.
  • High emotional intelligence and situational awareness.
  • A proactive, adaptable mindset.
  • Deep domain expertise in recruiting / HR tech is a plus.
  • Experience with solution architecture is a plus.
