The Business Development Manager (BDM) represents Granicus in the UK public sector marketplace with responsibility for client acquisition and revenue growth.

In Short

  • Generate, develop and close sales opportunities within public sector organisations.
  • Understand complex customer requirements for CRM and digital transformation.
  • Deliver custom presentations on Granicus solutions.
  • Develop effective strategies for winning in a competitive environment.
  • Manage internal resources to present compelling cases to prospects.
  • Respond to RFPs and lead bid documentation.
  • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Document all activities in Salesforce CRM.
  • Support management in developing sales strategies.
  • Write and present quarterly business reviews.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of field sales experience in relevant sectors.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Understanding of UK government or public sector.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Client-focused with a passion for public sector success.
  • Goal-oriented and self-motivated.
  • Experience selling enterprise software and CRM solutions.
  • Familiarity with public sector procurement.
  • Capable of managing multiple active opportunities.
  • Success selling to Central and/or Local Government entities.
