In Short

• This is a full time remote role for candidates in the UK, Sweden, Spain and Germany.
• Join one of two sub-squads, Ingest or Query, maintaining the Grafana Mimir OSS project.
• Work on large-scale, high-performance distributed systems.
• Drive performance and reliability improvements.
• Write and review PRs and design documents.
• Participate in the on-call rotation for the systems you own.
• Collaborate with your team in a fully remote setup.
• Embrace our open-source culture and contribute to other projects.
• Support team members and participate in design discussions.
• Learn new skills related to our cloud product and customers.

Requirements

• Solid experience with at least one programming language (Go preferred).
• Experience delivering projects from requirements gathering to shipping.
• Experience with software that runs in the Cloud or systems engineering.
• Experience being on-call and following the DevOps model.
• Experience writing clean, robust, and performant software.
• Familiarity with observability systems.
