Our team is growing, and we’re looking for a Finance Senior Associate to join us and work closely with our Finance Director. This role will support both the accounting and finance functions, offering a broad and dynamic scope of work. We’re seeking a candidate with strong leadership potential and a growth mindset, eager to contribute and grow with the team.

 

 

Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable (AR)

  • Oversee invoicing, collections, and cash application processes.
  • Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts.
  • Ensure timely and accurate recording of incoming payments.
  • Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve billing issues.

Accounts Payable (AP)

  • Manage vendor payments, purchase orders, and expense reimbursements.
  • Review and approve invoices for accuracy and compliance.
  • Ensure timely and accurate disbursement of funds.

Financial Close Process

  • Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
  • Ensure all journal entries, reconciliations, and adjustments are completed accurately and on time.
  • Oversee the general ledger and ensure the accuracy of all accounting records.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and internal policies.
  • Coordinate and manage external audits and tax filings.
  • Maintain and improve accounting systems, processes, and documentation.
  • Evaluate and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Prepare and review financial statements and ensure compliance with GAAP or IFRS.

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

  • Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Analyze financial performance and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to support strategic planning.
  • Conduct variance analysis and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Support the Director of Finance in developing financial strategies and long-term planning.
  • Lead in cross-functional initiatives to improve financial systems and processes.

Vendor Management

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and service providers.
  • Evaluate vendor performance and ensure compliance with contractual terms.
  • Collaborate with procurement and operations to optimize vendor selection and cost efficiency.
  • Monitor vendor risk and ensure alignment with company policies and financial goals.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 5-7+ years of progressive experience in accounting and financial management.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting.
  • Experience with financial systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite, Oracle).
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
