Overview

The Account Manager, Grocery (East) will own and scale Grüns’ Conventional Grocery business across key East Coast retail partners, managing strategy, execution, performance, and relationships.

In Short

  • Own and manage the East Grocery business end-to-end.
  • Lead buyer relationships with major grocery retailers.
  • Establish a monthly business review cadence.
  • Deliver flawless launches on-time and in-full.
  • Build and maintain a continuous pipeline of incremental opportunities.
  • Own promo planning and post-event analysis.
  • Develop retailer-specific playbooks for success.
  • Manage broker and distributor relationships.
  • Partner cross-functionally with various teams.
  • Identify and pursue new East Coast grocery partnerships.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of CPG sales experience, with grocery retailer experience preferred.
  • Understanding of Grocery channel economics and vendor expectations.
  • Experience expanding distribution and executing off-shelf programs.
  • Strong financial acumen and margin math understanding.
  • Highly analytical with data synthesis skills.
  • Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Slides.
  • Experience managing brokers and leveraging models.
  • Successful track record in launching new items.
