In Short

  • Work alongside Sales and Customer Success as the Gong Forecast product expert.
  • Understand and demo the Gong Forecast product to various users.
  • Position Gong Forecast within the overall Gong Revenue AI platform.
  • Conduct use case discovery sessions on customer forecasting workflows.
  • Deliver outcome-based demos and solution architecture diagrams.
  • Assist with trials and craft content for specific use cases.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to eliminate bottlenecks in the sales process.
  • Support marketing activities like webinars and events.
  • Contribute reusable assets to the Sales Engineering team.
  • Share customer feedback with product teams to influence strategies.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of customer-facing experience in a sales engineering role.
  • Experience selling to decision makers in Sales and Operations.
  • Understanding of the revenue forecasting industry and landscape.
  • Passion for serving customers in pre-sales roles.
  • Experience with sales technology including CRMs and cloud architecture.
  • Knowledge of essential sales workflows and GTM personas.
  • Familiarity with data flows, AI, and ML concepts.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to simplify complex concepts.
