Fraud Analyst - Remote

Overview

The Fraud Analyst will be part of the GOAT Group's Fraud team, responsible for maintaining trust between buyers and sellers by auditing purchases and verifying credit card information.

In Short

• Review all orders and alerts daily to identify valid and fraudulent transactions.
• Maintain or exceed review volume expectations with minimal errors.
• Analyze notifications and escalations to identify fraudulent transactions.
• Provide timely responses to customer inquiries regarding verification.
• Monitor fraud and abuse rates to develop mitigation strategies.
• Manage fraud strategy by creating and reviewing fraud rules.
• Conduct periodic reviews of rule performance for efficiency.
• Mentor fraud specialists to improve performance.
• Maintain relationships with law enforcement and fraud solution providers.
• Adjust daily responsibilities to meet business needs.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in e-commerce fraud and payments.
• 2+ years in fraud data analytics, ideally in e-commerce.
• SQL experience required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Knowledge of customer service and customer experience.
• Ability to follow stringent processes and regulations.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Self-starter with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to think analytically and make accurate decisions.
• Team player with strong proficiency in web-based tools.
