HR Specialist - Remote

Overview

As an HR Specialist in a fast-growing company, you will support G-P’s clients and the professionals we engage, while managing HR, accounting, and legal service providers for international entities.

In Short

• Serve as a regional expert for all employee lifecycle events and HR functions in Canada.
• Provide senior-level support to customer inquiries regarding Canadian market norms and compliance.
• Manage local Canadian payroll providers and HR partners.
• Collaborate with Customer Services for strategic HR support and client acquisition.
• Support off-boarding and ensure compliance with Canadian labor laws.
• Drive product and AI-related initiatives to enhance internal processes.
• Proactively address potential errors and develop solutions.
• Handle ongoing client matters and manage data meticulously.
• Lead compliance projects with cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrate excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and French.

Requirements

• BS/BA Degree or higher in Human Resources or related field.
• 5+ years of HR experience, preferably as an HR Specialist or Generalist.
• In-depth knowledge of Canadian employment laws.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently.
• Resourceful and adaptable problem-solver.
• Champion of change with excellent communication skills.
• Experience with international interactions and cultural sensitivity.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AI tools.
• Reliability, organization, and customer-service orientation.
