Overview

This role is primarily to oversee and monitor the movement of parcels from either the merchant or GE hub and successfully to the carrier. This involves actively working with carriers and collaborating across different functions to resolve problems. Liaising with the Tech Team to solve issues and answering customer service queries through Zendesk is also a key responsibility.

In Short

  • Ensure swift, efficient responses to Zendesk tickets.
  • Chase carriers for timely answers to close cases.
  • Monitor and fix Failed Transfer to Shipping (FTS) & Address Validations.
  • Handle carrier exceptions reports received daily.
  • Be proactive and escalate issues when appropriate.
  • Cover team members' holidays/absences.
  • Stay updated with all carriers and their reports.
  • Read service alerts from carriers to inform responses.
  • Attend regular departmental meetings for input.
  • Monitor merchant performance reports as the role develops.

Requirements

  • Excellent written communication skills in English.
  • Open mind and 'can do' attitude.
  • Ability to handle large volume workload with speed and accuracy.
  • Additional languages are an advantage.
  • Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills.
  • Customer service orientation.
  • Flexibility.
  • Problem Solving/Analysis skills.
  • Teamwork Orientation and ability to work independently.
  • Proficient in Excel is a must.
