Senior Delivery Manager, Partner Focused - APJ - Remote

Overview

A Delivery Manager (partner-focused) is responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of Professional Services Delivery through internal teams as well as external partners, building and maintaining strong relationships with them, ensuring they meet performance expectations, and acting as the primary point of contact for operational issues, collaborating closely with internal teams to resolve challenges and optimize partner performance across the entire delivery lifecycle.

• Establish and maintain GitLab project delivery standards and methodologies.
• Oversee the work of the Program Delivery team.
• Monitor the progress of all Professional Services customer projects.
• Work closely with PS Operations for effective resource allocations.
• Manage partner resource allocation across multiple client projects.
• Resolve escalations between clients, internal teams, and partner resources.
• Facilitate communication between different project teams and stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with projects.
• Develop and manage the partner onboarding process.
• Provide necessary training and support to partners.

Requirements

• 8+ years experience in professional services delivery management.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• A minimum of five years experience in a supervisory position.
• DevOps industry-specific understanding of services and technology.
• A minimum of ten years of experience in the industry.
• Track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
• Strong relationship management and communication skills.
• Experience with resource management and capacity planning.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
• A Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification (preferred).
