Legal Counsel, Litigation - Remote

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Legal Counsel, Litigation to manage a diverse portfolio of litigation matters. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and outside counsel to develop and execute litigation strategies and deliver practical legal guidance that aligns with our business objectives.

In Short

• Draft and review pleadings, discovery responses, motions, and briefs.
• Partner with team members and stakeholders to assess litigation risks.
• Develop and implement litigation holds and manage document collection.
• Manage outside counsel for cost-effective representation.
• Monitor and analyze changes in the law and propose solutions.
• Develop and implement litigation avoidance best practices.
• Advise on, draft, and review templates and policies.
• Oversee and improve internal processes related to litigation.

Requirements

• 6+ years’ legal experience.
• JD/LLB or local law degree equivalent and admission to state bar.
• Broad litigation experience with a proven track record.
• Ability to work with technical teams and translate concepts.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills and relationship building.
• Proactive and result-driven self-starter.
• Strong project management skills.
• Familiarity working across global time zones.
