As an Engineering Manager for the Foundations: Import group, you‘ll lead a talented team of engineers at GitLab, focusing on delivering impactful results while enhancing team productivity and well-being.

Requirements

• 3+ years of proven Engineering Management experience in a similar SaaS environment.
• Proficiency in using GitLab for project management and collaboration.
• Working knowledge of git.
• Strong negotiation skills to achieve consensus across departments.
• Demonstrated leadership experience with current technical competency.
• In-depth technical expertise in at least one core language, framework, or technology (Rails/Ruby).
• Familiarity with various functional areas within the team's domain.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
